On November 14, 2025, Premier Li Qiang presided over a State Council executive meeting, which discussed the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China (Revised Draft) and other related topics.

The meeting discussed and passed in principle the revised draft of the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China, and decided to submit the draft to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress for deliberation. It emphasized the need to strengthen the administration and protection of trademarks in accordance with the law, giving full play to the role of trademarks in promoting economic and social development.
