CNIPA Deputy Commissioner Attends Release Event of WIPO's Ranking of World’s Top 100 Innovation Clusters in Hong Kong

Recently, Zhang Zhicheng, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), led a delegation to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) upon invitation to attend the release event of the ranking of the world's top 100 innovation clusters held by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) .

In the opening remarks, Zhang noted that China's innovation clusters have developed rapidly in recent years, showcasing the country's innovative vitality. He highlighted that WIPO's decision to release the ranking in the HKSAR fully demonstrates the global significance of the Shenzhen–Hong Kong–Guangzhou cluster. Looking ahead, the CNIPA will continue to support the innovation-driven development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and assist the HKSAR in accelerating its efforts to build a regional IP trading center and a hub for international IP cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation held working talks with the Intellectual Property Department of the HKSAR, engaging in in-depth discussions on further supporting IP development in the HKSAR.
