Shen Changyu and Director General of Danish Patent and Trademark Office Hold a Bilateral Talk

On the afternoon of July 10, during the Sixty-Fifth Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland, Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), held a bilateral talk with Sune Stampe Sørensen, Director General of the Danish Patent and Trademark Office. The discussions focused on the latest progress in IP work in both countries and IP issues of mutual concern.

Shen outlined that the CNIPA and the Danish Patent and Trademark Office have maintained good interactions and deepened cooperation in recent years. IP exchange meetings jointly organized by the two offices have been well-received by the industries of both countries. Over the past year, China has made significant progress in promoting IP transformation and utilization, improving related laws and regulations, and enhancing the quality and efficiency of examination work, with its IP protection environment continuously improving. He expressed hope for continued strengthening of exchanges between the two offices, and advancement of more pragmatic cooperation projects to better serve users in both countries.

Sørensen emphasized that the Danish side highly values its bilateral cooperative relationship with the CNIPA and the two sides have conducted a series of fruitful exchanges and cooperation.
