The 1st Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Global Urban and Rural Development Forum (GURD) was recently held in Chengdu. This forum was co-hosted by the BFA, the People's Government of Sichuan Province and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Lu Pengqi, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), attended the forum and delivered a speech.
During his speech, Lu introduced China's initiatives in IP financial services and discussed the role of IP in supporting urban and rural development. He highlighted the Chinese government's strong commitment to IP finance, which is advanced through establishing a comprehensive policy system, fostering business innovation, and building a robust service ecosystem.
