The 2023 Symposium on China-U.S. Intellectual Property Practice, co-organized by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and the CNIPA-U.S. Bar Liaison Council, was held in Beijing on December 14. CNIPA Deputy Commissioner Lu Pengqi and the Council's Chair Eliabeth Chien-Hale attended the Symposium and delivered a speech respectively.
Lu noted that the CNIPA-U.S. Bar Liaison Council has been an important partner of the CNIPA in promoting non-governmental exchanges between China and U.S. in IP. The CNIPA is willing to work with Chinese and U.S. colleagues from all walks of life to continue deepening practical cooperation in IP between the two countries and make positive contributions to China-U.S. relations.
Chien-Hale thanked the CNIPA for offering a communication opportunity, looked forward to deepening bilateral cooperation and continuing organizing communication and discussion events in both countries.
