CNIPA Deputy Commissioner Meets Commercial Counselor of UAE Embassy to China in Beijing

Lu Pengqi, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) recently met Abdulla Alnoaimi, Commercial Counselor (Minister Plenipotentiary) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy to China in Beijing.

Lu briefed the UAE delegation on the basic information of the CNIPA and the latest development of the Chinese IP work and stressed that China has carried out effective cooperation on patent examination, policy communication, personnel training and other areas with the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and IP authorities of some GCC members. He wished that the two sides would jointly advance pragmatic cooperation in the IP field and create a sound innovation and business environment to prop up the cooperation in investment, economy and trade, science and technology and culture between the two countries.

Alnoaimi said that the UAE and China have a close relationship and are important trade partners to each other. The UAE is willing to work with China to boost communication and cooperation in the IP field and create a brighter future for cooperation in multiple fields between the two countries.
