On March 1, Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) held a video conference with Kerimbaeva Rahat Topchubaevna, the newly appointed Director of the State Agency of Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Shen Changyu said that China and Kyrgyzstan have a long-standing friendship built on shared history. Not long ago, President Xi Jinping met with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov who came to China to attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. A joint statement they adopted charts the course for the two countries to strengthen IP cooperation for closer all-round cooperation. CNIPA attaches great importance to the relationship with the State Agency of Intellectual Property and Innovation. CNIPA stands ready to work with the Kyrgyz side to advance bilateral cooperation and IP cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road, pushing the cooperation between the two sides to a new height.
Kerimbaeva pointed out that China and Kyrgyzstan have witnessed fruitful results of bilateral cooperation and Belt and Road cooperation. The Kyrgyz side expressed its high appreciation and sincere gratitude to the CNIPA for its strong support in personnel training and experience sharing.
