China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) approved to set up China Bazhou (Furniture) Fast IPR Protection Service Center (hereinafter referred to as "Bazhou Fast IPR Service Center") in recent days. There are now 27 centers to provide quicker services for intellectual property rights (IPR) protection issues in China, including five newly established in 2021. Bazhou Fast IPR Service Center is the first of its kind in Hebei Province offering IPR protection services for enterprises in the furniture industry.

Bazhou, a county-level city in Langfang, Hebei, is one of the main clusters of the metal and glass furniture industry. With over 2,000 companies, Bazhou's annual sales exceeds RMB 19 billion, and its output value accounts for 76 percent of the national total, benefiting nearly 40,000 directly employed people.
