Baidu holds the most AI-related patents and patent applications in China, according to a recent study published by two units under China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The report shows that Baidu focuses on patents in sub-fields of AI including deep learning, natural language processing (NLP) and autonomous driving.
