On the morning of December 11th, Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) visited the Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on invitation to give a report on situations and missions. Themed on "implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's guidelines to strengthen intellectual property rights (IPR) protection and focusing on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the plans made in the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. Further focus was placed on implementing Xi Jinping's important instructions at the 25th Collective Learning of Political Bureau[1]  of CPC Central Committee. Mr. Shen's report made a deep and systematic explanation on the history and connotation of IP, application and function of IP, progress and achievements in the IP field since the 18th Party Congress, implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions, and the efforts on improving IPR protection. Mr. Zhen Zhanmin, Vice President of the Central Party School, attended and presided over the report meeting, and nearly 1,000 students at the Central Party School were also present.
