On October 13, CNIPA Commissioner Shen Changyu held a video conference with Abdulaziz Al-Swailem, CEO of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP). The two parties reviewed their cooperation since last year, and conducted in-depth exchanges on the latest progress, cooperation in personnel training, and the Global Intellectual Property Challenges Forum hosted by SAIP. During the meeting, CNIPA and SAIP signed a PPH cooperation agreement.
Shen Changyu introduced the latest progress of CNIPA. He said that the two parties enjoy a long history of cooperation, and China is willing to work together with Saudi Arabia to deepen exchanges and seek concrete cooperation. As to the PPH cooperation, he said that the PPH pilot project carried out by CNIPA and SAIP will facilitate both applicants with faster application examination and high-quality and efficient services.
