Shen Changyu Meets with Head of Rospatent Yury Zubov in Beijing

On May 21, Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), met in Beijing with Yury Zubov, Head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), and his delegation.

Shen noted that, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, CNIPA and Rospatent have maintained close communication and practical cooperation over the years, achieving fruitful results. He expressed the hope that, in line with the upgraded memorandum of understanding between CNIPA and Rospatent recently signed under the witness of the two heads of state, the two offices will further expand and deepen exchanges and cooperation in the field of intellectual property (IP), providing stronger support for technological innovation and economic development in both countries.

Zubov highly praised China's remarkable achievements in the field of IP, particularly in IP creation, protection and utilization. He noted that cooperation between the two offices has continued to deepen over the years and expressed his expectation that, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the two sides will further strengthen dialogue and exchanges, broaden areas of cooperation, and achieve even more fruitful outcomes.

During the meeting, the two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including the latest developments in IP work in China and Russia, bilateral and BRICS IP cooperation, and IP services for enterprises.
