CNIPA Deputy Commissioner Leads Delegation to Visit WIPO and EUIPO

Recently, at the invitation of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), Zhang Zhicheng, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), led a delegation on visits to Switzerland and Spain. During the visits, Zhang held bilateral meetings with Director General Daren Tang and Deputy Director General Wang Binying of WIPO, as well as with EUIPO Executive Director João Negrão. The delegation exchanged views on the latest developments in intellectual property work, bilateral cooperation, trademarks, geographical indications, and other related issues with WIPO and EUIPO. The 2026–2027 work plan on bilateral cooperation between CNIPA and EUIPO was also signed.

During the visits, the delegation also visited the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Other International Organizations in Switzerland and held working discussions with Ambassador Jia Guide.
