In 2000, member states of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) designated April 26 as World Intellectual Property (IP) Day with the aim of increasing general understanding of IP. Since then, World IP Day has become a unique opportunity to highlight the role that IP plays in encouraging innovation and creativity. Over the past decades, WIPO has set different themes each year to explore how IP shapes the society and drives innovation. As this year's campaign approaches, this edition presents a collection of posters and themes for World IP Day (2015-2024), celebrating the contributions made by global inventors and creators.
