Lemons are local specialty of Anyue County of Sichuan Province. Recognized as the "lemon capital" in China, Anyue is one of the world's five major lemon-producing areas. The Anyue lemon is of good quality and nutritions. In 2007, Anyue Lemon was registered as Chinese GI certification mark and selected into the first group of products list under a China-EU GI protection and cooperation agreement.

In recent years, Anyue Lemon have been exported to more than 30 countries and regions overseas.

According to the latest data, Anyue lemon achieved a self operated export of 40,02 million yuan, marking 139.1 percent increase year-on-year.
