Pieces of exquisite rattan-woven fabric are displayed in the exhibition hall of the drum stool factory in Lincang City of Yunnan Province, attracting many tourists to buy souvenirs. In 2020, the rattan drum stool production technique of Wengda village was selected into the fifth batch of municipal ICH representative project list of Lincang. In recent years, Wengda Village, with the goal of cultivating the traditional rattan weaving industry to drive villagers' incomes, has been actively building the "hand-woven cultural brand of Wa nationality", driving more than 140 rural households to increase incomes.
