The two-month event, "Tea for Harmony - Yaji Cultural Salon," concluded recently at the China Cultural Center in Madrid. The closing ceremony featured a promotion of Xinyang city's famous green tea, maojian. During the event, an inheritor of Xinyang maojian tea making shared his personal stories with attendees, in addition to showcasing tea art performances and dances inspired by the tea-making process. Nowadays, tea has changed from a simple drink to a cultural symbol of Chinese civilization and a bridge connecting the world.
