Recently, the 2023 Southern Shaanxi Folk Song Competition was held in Zhenba County, Shaanxi Province. The competition was open to collect original songs with independent IP rights of Southern Shaanxi folk songs. These songs with diversified forms and delicate and beautiful voices, are both traditional folk cultural projects of the region and rare Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) treasures. Among them, Ziyang folk songs and Zhenba folk songs have been inscribed on the list of national ICH representative projects. The interplay of new works of fresh singers and classic songs further promoted the inheritance, protection and innovation of exquisite traditional culture.
