The group of visitors from KL International School of Chongqing Bashu visited the Chongqing Sichuan Opera Museum on Friday to learn about the dramatic form. " This is a good opportunity for my students and I to enjoy Sichuan Opera, to closely see the beauty of Chinese traditional culture, and expect more students will be exposed to traditional Chinese culture," said the headmaster of this school.

Sichuan Opera, or Chuan Ju, originated in Sichuan province around the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty. Now it is popular among Han Chinese in Sichuan province and Chongqing, as well as in parts of Guizhou and Yunnan provinces.
