At invitation of Yahoo Beijing R&D center, PRB sent some examiners went to there to develop an enterprise research.

     During the research, Head of Yahoo R&D center firstly briefed their R&D center, and PRB introduced its general situation, responsibilities, service and business in detail as well. Then the Head of Yahoo R&D center delivered a keynote speech on big data and cloud computing which are hottest technologies at present in the computer field. After the speech, examiners exchanged their opinions with the speaker. Examiners also answered problems concerning patent application raised from Yahoo IP legal personnel.

     This kind of enterprise research provided an exchange platform between PRB and enterprises. On one hand, it helps examiners get an easier access to the cutting-edge technologies, the current status of the development of patents which promotes patent examination; on the other hand, it solves problems of enterprises when applying for a patent, and thus provides support and help for the patent development of the enterprise, and further strengthen the influence of the PRB.
