CNIPA Deputy Commissioner Leads Delegation to Mexico and Costa Rica for Working Visits

Recently, Chen Dan, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), led a delegation to Mexico and Costa Rica for working visits at the invitation of the two countries.

During the visits, Chen held talks respectively with the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) and the National Registry of the Republic of Costa Rica, engaging in in-depth discussions on the latest developments in bilateral cooperation, capacity building, intellectual property (IP) public services, and cooperation on information and documentation exchange. The Chinese side signed the summary of the meeting with the Costa Rican side, and reached consensus on the summary of the meeting with the Mexican side.

During the visits, the delegation also paid courtesy calls on the Chinese embassies in Mexico and Costa Rica. At the invitation of relevant institutions, the delegation visited the Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (SECIHTI) of Mexico, Costa Rica’s National Center for High Technology, and three innovation laboratories.
