CNIPA Deputy Commissioner Liao Tao attended the meeting, which was chaired by Jiang Peixue, Vice President of Tsinghua University.
Shen outlined that the joint establishment of international IP college is an important initiative for both sides to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi's important expositions and instructions and the decisions and deployments by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council. The collaboration aims to promote the cultivation of high-level IP talent, advanced academic research, and high-end international exchanges. Tsinghua University's unique strengths in engineering and science, combined with its deep expertise in humanities and law, should be leveraged to promote the integration of science and engineering with science of law. This will enable continuous exploration of new models for IP talent cultivation, with a focus on developing international high-end and practical talents in the IP field.

It is also a major milestone in Tsinghua University's journey toward becoming a world-class university. Tsinghua University has achieved a series of results in IP team building, talent cultivation, discipline construction, international exchange and cooperation, and IP utilization and commercialization. Under the guidance of the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, the two sides are expected to expand further cooperation and promote the construction and development of the international IP college.
