The State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO) commenced PPH pilot programs with the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) respectively on September 1, 2013 for a period of two years ending on August 31, 2015.

The SIPO and the CIPO together decided to extend the PPH pilot program between the two offices from September 1, 2015 for three years ending on August 31, 2018 with related requirements and procedures unchanged.

According to the Joint Declaration of Intent for Extending the Patent Prosecution Highway Pilot Program between the State Intellectual Property Office of China and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore, the SIPO and the IPOS will extend the pilot program from September 1, 2015 for two years ending on August 31, 2017 with related requirements and procedures unchanged.
