PPH Pilot Programs between SIPO and ROSPATENT, SIPO and PPO Extended from July 1, 2015

The State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO) commenced PPH pilot programs with the Federal Service for Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation (ROSPATENT) and the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland (PPO) on July 1, 2012 and July 1, 2013 respectively for periods of three years and two years ending on June 30, 2015.

SIPO and ROSPATENT together decided to extend the pilot program from July 1, 2015 for three years ending on June 30, 2018. PPH requests filed since July 1, 2015 to SIPO and ROSPATENT shall follow related requirements and procedures prescribed in the latest Guidelines on the PPH Pilot Program between SIPO and ROSPATENT.

According to the Statement of Intent on Deepening Cooperation in Patent Examination and Extending Patent Prosecution Highway Pilot Program between the State Intellectual Property Office of China and the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, the PPH pilot program between the two offices was extended from July 1, 2015 infinitely with related requirements and procedures unchanged.
