Following the success of the first China patent week in November 2007 in Beijing, the development of IP in Beijing has been remarkable. As of the first 9 months of 2011, Beijing filed 52,900 patent applications and obtained 30,200 patents in China, up 37.1% and 25.4% respectively, according to a principal of Beijing IP Office.
