General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine(AQSIQ) recently approved 10 GI products, including Laiyang pear and Hutou rice noodle.  As of now, 1,070 GIs have been registered under the AQSIQ system, with 932 domestic GIs under protection. 2013-07-17
