Since last July, Beijing customs checked and released 43,905 times of athletes, referees and officials attending the Beijing Olympics, along with 1,526 groups of their baggage, or 16,256 pieces, or 1,345 tons, which ensured the rapid passage of Olympic family members and their belongings.
