Customs in Yangshan, Shanghai found the words Beijing 2008 on 4,800 Ecuador-bound sneakers exported by a Qingdao company. After checking with the Olympic right holders, the customs determined infringement. This was the biggest case infringing Olympic IPRs uncovered by the Shanghai customs in the year.
