To the end of June, every 10,000 citizens of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province owned 65.38 valid invention patents. In the first six months of this year, the city filed 593 PCT international patent applications, up 53.63% compared to the same period of last year; obtained 6,625 invention patents, up 22.75%.
