According to data released by the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board (TRAB) of SIPO, in 2017, the total number of trademark review cases decided by the board reached 168,900 and 9,310 subpoenas were issued to the TRAB by the first-instance  court, making the percentage of challenges out of all the TRAB decisions last year 5.5%.
