Coordination Bureau under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Institute of Industrial Economics Chinese Academy of Social Sciences jointly issued released the Summer 2011 report on China Industrial Economic Situation. In this year, the national economy towards the expected direction of macro regulation and control, industrial production showed the economy running smoothly, continue to improve efficiency and structure a good pattern of steadily adjusted.

As result of serious shortage of technological innovation and R & D investment, the majority of our industries and enterprises do not own the core technology, IPR and self-brands, China should increase policy support for technological transformation and accelerate the use of advanced practical technologies and high technology to transform and upgrade traditional industries, lack of independent innovation capability as soon as possible to change the passive situation.
