According to the Plan outline on University Science Park Development during 12th Five-year Period released by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education, settled enterprises in the national university science park have filed 5,603 patents home and abroad, 2,333 of which are inventions.

Under the outline, the university science parks nationwide will strive to improve innovation service system, provide more resources in the colleges and universities to the settled enterprises in the park, integrate the R&D resources to build public service platforms.
