Shanghai Economic and Information Technology Commission, Shanghai IP Office and other ten authorities jointly issued Several Opinions on Promoting Shanghai Creative Industry, requiring stepping up IP protection and application of creative industry.

Under the opinion, concerted efforts would be made to encourage company and individual to strengthen creative achievements, and file patent and register copyright, combine IP protection with company credit system construction, establish IP publication system and dispute warning mechanism, crack IP infringement. In parallel, the public service platform for trading and management of creative IPR and designs should be established to promote the exchanging of the relevant IPRs and designs.
