The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) released the National Quality Competitiveness Index of Manufacturing Industry Report 2009. With an enhancing capability of innovation of Chinese companies, the competitiveness of manufacturing Industry remained stable upward development trend. China had received cumulative 315,000 invention applications in 2009, accounting for 32.3% of the total, up 8.5%.

The report displays that the competitiveness of manufacturing Industry presents characteristics of technical level and quality steadily increased and R & D investment intensified .According to the study, Index not only shows the change of capability of innovation Industry and the level of quality but also enhanced the capability of innovation and urges companies to grow on IPRs.
