In efforts to coordinate and support the national campaign to crack down on violations of IPR and on the production and distribution of fake and shoddy products, the Supreme Court recently published a Circular on giving full play to court's criminal justice function and punishing severely crimes violating IPR, producing and distributing fake and shoddy products.

According to the circular, the court at different levels should severely deal with the criminals violating IPR and producing and distributing fake and shoddy products according to the law. At the same time the court applys the principal penalty, penalty punishment should also be more severe. The circular indicates that efforts should be striven to recover the illegal earnings, capture the guilty tools and destroy the infringement products to prevent the criminals committing the crime again.
