To further create a favorable environment for IPR protection and promote national software industry development, General Office of the Sate Council recently issued a Circular on encouraging government bodies using legitimate software. According to the circular, government bodies at all levels should take the lead in popularizing the authorized software.

Under the circular, government bodies at all levels should launch a special campaign to supervise and examine the authorized software in their working units, the focus should be on office software and antivirus program. The computers which purchased or updated with the operating system in the government offices must be installed with the authorized software products. A principal will be selected in to ensure a successful and smooth implementation.
