Ministry of Transportation has issued the Management Measures on Intellectual Property of Transportation Industry recently, which aims at regulating the intellectual property rights work of transportation, strengthening the creation, utilization, protection and management on intellectual property rights in transportation industry.

The revision of Measures provides for the intellectual property involved in the transportation industry, which increased the computer software copyright, badges and domain name marking exclusive rights. The Measures require all departments to strengthen supervision of the IPR management and standard the IPR protection in international cooperation, regulating that in all kinds of S & T cooperation and exchange activities, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the cooperating parties, and further improving the system of rewards and penalties.
