The National Development and Reform Commission and State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of P.R.C released a Circular on Development of Modern Chinese Medicine Industry, requiring stepping up modern Chinese Medicine industry with self-reliant IPRs.

The Circular spelled out several tasks, supporting the industrialization of innovative medicine, helping the commercialization of the medicine with self developed IPRs, efficacy, advanced and great potential, giving preferential support to develop key cultivation techniques of the medicine and encouraging the model project of quality control techniques during the production of the medicine. The Circular says, making full advantages of the medicine, facilitating the commercialization of those medicines with self-reliant IPRs, advanced and higher maturity.
