The National Development and Reform Commission, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of P. R. China and other 4 departments jointly issued an Opinion on Bolstering Sustainable Development of China Automobile Export, requiring to promote the development of automobile export by bolstering company innovation, stepping up structure adjustment, accelerating transformation of foreign trade growth and improving efficiency and quality.

According to the goal, it establishes the objective of enabling the export of automobile and spare parts to reach an average annual growth rate of 10% from 2009 to 2011, generates 85 billion U.S. dollars or 20% in 2015, and takes up 10% of the world's trade volume in 2020.
