The Ministry of Railways formulated the Regulations on Enhancing Management of Railway Innovations and Promoting Commercialization of Innovations.   Specific provisions are laid out on technical examination and verification, exchanges and commercialization and IPR management.  Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry is responsible for technical examination while the Science and Technology Office assists day-to-day operation of technical examination and verification.  The Ministry will establish databases of science and technology, key technical equipments, technical standards, experimental bases and IPR information and a sharing online platform with relevant management service function modules to promote announcement, communication of innovations.
