Taiwan Industry General Union signed 2009 Cross-Straits Patent Cooperation Summary with Mainland Patent Agents Association recently.

In the Cooperation Summary, two parties agreed to enhance exchange and cooperation on cross-straits IP protection and utilization and establish win-win collaboration mechanism towards knowledge economy. The Cooperation Summary also defined that, the two parties will take turns to sponsor Cross-Straits Patent Forum every year, build a platform to exchange cross-straits patent materials, guide training and publicity work of cross-straits enterprises, patent agents and the public and promote the exchange work on cross-straits patent business.
