On November 20, CNIPA Commissioner Shen Changyu welcomed the first visit of IPONZ Commissioner Ross van der Schyff and his delegation in Beijing, and the two sides exchanged views on their cooperation and some issues of common concern. According to Shen Changyu, under the framework of the Cooperation Arrangement between SIPO and IPONZ signed in March 2017, the two sides have carried out a series of fruitful cooperation in information communication, IP examination and authorization, data exchange and other fields. He hoped that they could expand their cooperation in trademarks and geographical indications in the future to further enhance their good partnership and provide better service for IP users of the two countries.
