On September 4, CNIPA Commissioner Shen Changyu met INPI Director General Pascal Faure and his delegation in Beijing, and jointly attended the 31th Joint Commission on Intellectual Property between CNIPA and INPI. During the meeting, Shen Changyu and Pascal Faure exchanged in-depth views on issues such as the latest developments in both countries' IP work, IP reform, high-level visits, personnel training and bilateral cooperation. Shen Changyu said that China and France, as the world’s major economies, share common interests and have maintained a sound relationship to the long-term cooperation. The two offices have achieved fruitful results through bilateral cooperation, and should further strengthen cooperation so as to inject new vitality into the economic development of the two countries. Pascal Faure said that this visit impressed him with the fruitful achievements of China-French cooperation over the years. He hoped that both sides will promote further exchanges and cooperation, broaden the scope of cooperation, deepen mutual understanding, build greater consensus in a bid to create a brighter future for cooperation.
