On August 27, CNIPA Deputy Commissioner He Hua met Jörg Thomaier, CEO of Bayer Intellectual Property GmbH and Head of IP Bayer Group, and his delegation in Beijing. Both sides exchanged their views and discussed the affairs of intellectual property that they were both interested in.

He Hua briefed on the relevant information of institutional reform of CNIPA and developments in the revisions of China's IP laws, and exchanged views with Bayer Group on issues such as patent infringement damages, patent term and patent linkage.
