On March 28, Deputy Commissioner Zhao Gang of China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) met in Beijing with a delegation of thyssenkrupp AG of Germany led by Executive Board Member Donatus Kaufmann. The two sides exchanged views and discussed on IP topics of common interest.
Zhao Gang briefed on the relevant information of institutional reform of CNIPA, developments in the revisions of China's IP laws, and the latest measures taken by China in the protection of IP rights. He remarked that Chinese government is committed to creating a more open and fair environment for IP protection, administrative authorities, public security organs and judicial authorities are making increasing efforts for IP protection, and Chinese citizens' awareness of IP protection is constantly improving.
