23 Schools Named as IP Information Centers

The China National Intellectual Property Administration and the Ministry of Education have named 23 higher educational institutions as national IP information service centers, the first of their kind in the country. The schools, including Peking University, are expected to tap into their rich resources in information and human resources, promote coordination between academia and industry for innovation and the industrialization of research results, and offer a wide range of services for IP creation, use, protection and management, according to the CNIPA. They will play an active role in advancing the country's innovation-driven growth, officials said.
