Shen Changyu and the Delegation Visit World Intellectual Property Organization

 

On September 25 according to the local time, Shen Changyu, commissioner of China National Intellectual Property Administration, led a delegation visiting the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva of Switzerland and held bilateral talks with Francis Gurry, director general of WIPO. Shen said that China National Intellectual Property Administration will continue to support the work of WIPO and its director general firmly and safeguard the role of a main platform played by WIPO in the formulation of rules for the global intellectual property, wishing to conduct closer and deeper cooperation with WIPO. Gurry expressed his gratitude for the support given to WIPO by China over a long period in the past. He pointed out that China is playing an important role in the global service system of WIPO, especially the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), and he expected both sides would further strengthen cooperation.
