The State Intellectual Property Office has initiated a four-month-long operation targeted at counterfeits and infringements in the e-commerce sector, starting this month. SIPO ordered its branches across the country to enhance regulation of sales on online trading platforms and crack down upon severe IP infringements. SIPO said it will conduct random inspections in key areas and publicize prominent issues found in the operation.
