Shen Changyu Meets with APO President Mariana Karepova and the Delegation

On April 11th, SIPO Commissioner Shen Changyu met with the visiting Mariana Karepova, President of the Austrian Patent Office (APO), and her delegation. The two sides exchanged views on issues such as the latest development of the two countries' intellectual property (IP), China's IP system, IP service, and patent application process, among others. Shen Changyu said that on April 8th, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen witnessed the signing of “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology.” The two sides' joint statement on extending their PPH pilot program is also listed as a high-level visit achievement and fully reflected the two countries' high attention to their IP cooperation.
