Between December 1st and 3rd, China (Hainan) New Technological Achievements and IP technology Fair as well as the Summit of China Inventors were held in Haikou, the provincial capital of Hainan.
Mr. Lin Fanglue, the Vice Governor of Hainan, Mr. Wang Jingchuan, ex-commissioner and strategy adviser of SIPO, Mr. Wang Yongmin, Deputy President of Chinese Association of Inventors, Mr. Song Liuping, Vice Chairman of China Patent Protection Association, attended and gave their speeches at the fair and summit. SIPO wrote a congratulation letter to the air, and more than 40 scientific and technological administration departments, IP offices, invention associations as well as technological markets in China's provinces and big cities gave their congratulations either. The summit, presided by Mr. Huang Xueren, Vice Director of Hainan Science and Technology Administration, attracted over 200 inventors, and the participants had a comprehensive and fruitful discussion about Innovation and Industrialization, and passed "China Inventors Haikou Manifestos". The manifestos called on Chinese inventors to work hard for building an innovative China, and try to industrialize their achievements so as to serve the economic development of China.
The fair hall, occupying 1,300 square meters, exhibited 111 new technologies and products from Hainan, as well as 169 items from other 15 provinces and cities. Hainan Technology Exchange Market, Shanghai Technology Exchange, Beijing Technology Exchange Market, as well as China Technology Exchange website showed their products through internet. So, altogether, more than 12,000 technologies and products were shown in the fair, excluding some 100 from Korea. During the fair, 13 cooperation projects were reached with a total value more than 200 million yuan.
